He has been involved with mountaineering since 1981.
He actively participated in training, as well as in mountaineering clubs and HMGA management (8 years president), mountain rescue. and he served as member of canyoning committee UIAGM.
He participated in high altitude expeditions. Successfully summited: (1987) Mt Kenya – Africa : 5.199 m, (1989) Nun Kun – Himalayas: 6.600 m, (1992) Mt Kilimanjaro – Africa: 5.985 m, (1993) Khan Tengri – Thien Shan: 7.010 m. , (1995) Mt Korsheneyskaya – Pamir: 7.105 m, (1995) Mt Communism – Pamir: 7.495 m, (1996) Mt Pier de Coubertin – Pamir: 5.600 m, (2009) Mt Aconcagua – Andes: 6.962 m.
He has climbed in Greece, Bulgaria, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Czechia, Norway, Argentina (Patagonia), Kenya, Jordanian.
He climbed mountains in Greece, Bulgaria, f. Yugoslavia, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Argentina, Chile, Kenya, Sudan, Morocco, Oman, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan.
He has been awarded from the municipality of Ierapetra (Gr) for the first ever and successful ascent of “Ha” canyon in Crete-Greece (1987), from the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering & Climbing for successfully summiting Khan Tengri (1993), from
International Olympic Committee for the first ever and successful ascent to the summit and naming of Mt Pier de Coubertin – Pamir (1996) and he has been awarded the Silver award by the International Rotary Club for his efforts in mountain rescue.
Currently he owns and direct a rope access company.
He is only available as a mountain guide, for groups interested in mountain expeditions in altitudes up to 7.500m.
