Mountaineering education

Mountain Guides Course of HFMC-HMGA, Mountaineering Instructor Course of HFMC, Mountaineering Assistant Instructor Course of HFMC, Ski Mountaineering Course of HFMC, Mountaineering Intermediate Course.

Yiannis Konstantakis has been wandering in the mountains since he was a kid. After many years of climbing and skiing in Greece and abroad, he decided to become a Climbing and Mountaineering Instructor and eventually a national Mountain Guide.

His fields of experience are ski mountaineering, rock, ice and mixed climbing, as well as trekking and hiking. He has climbed and skied in the mountains all over Greece and has traveled to many big mountain ranges abroad (Cordillera Blanca of Peru, Himalayas, Caucasus, Alps of France, Switzerland and Italy, Julian Alps, mountains of Scotland, etc.). He has also spent a couple of seasons in Chamonix skiing and alpine climbing. He has worked in numerous companies of outdoor activities, as well as a Rope Access technician in various fields. The last few years he is cooperating with the Alternative Tourism Agency nofootprint.gr. He has studied Electronics Engineering and speaks English and French.
