Mountaineering education
Beginner Mountaineering Course of Acharnes Alpine Club, Intermediate Mountaineering Course of HFMC, Intermediate Mountaineering Ski Course of HFMC, Rock Climbing Assistant Instructor Course of HFMC, Mountaineering Assistant Instructor Course of HFMC, Mountaineering Instructor Course of HFMC, Mountain Guides Course of HMGA. In addition to HFMC and HMGA mountaineering education, he has spent a lot of time abroad since 2003, attending courses in alpine ski technique (Scuola di Sci, Alta Val di Fiemme).
General
Dimitrios works as a mountain guide with groups or individuals, specializing in mountaineering, rock climbing and sκi mountaineering. He speaks English and German.
Schools
Since 2000 he participates as an instructor in Mountaineering, Rock Climbing and Ski Mountaineering Schools that are organized by the Greek Alpine Clubs and are supervised by the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing (HFMC).
Clubs / Associations
During the period 1999-2013 he was a member of the board of directors of the Hellenic Alpine Club of Acharnes.
Ascents / Climbing
He has climbed many new multi-pitch routes (first ascents) in numerous Greek mountains, with several co-climbers and has also skied on countless Greek off-piste mountain slopes. He has also climbed in the Dolomites, Austrian, French and Swiss Alps.
Social contribution
He has participated in multiple search and rescue cases of victims in the alpine zone. During the period 2000-2016 he was the National Delegate in the Safety Commission of UIAA.

Writing activity
In co-operation with Aris Theodoropoulos he has written the academic book “Mountaineering, Detailed Technical Manual” (https://eosacharnon.gr/books/) and also contributed to the writing of the books “The Art of Mountaineering, Volumes A, B” written by C. Belogiannis and G. Voutiropoulos.
